Many apologies for the lack in updates – I’ve just been really busy with the other things I have going on right now (namely job searches – which are less fun than they sound…and it doesn’t sound fun). I do bring good news though! Following the successful launches of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F on the PlayStation 3 last year and Project Diva f on the PlayStation Vita earlier this month, SEGA announced today that they will be releasing the upcoming Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd on both consoles in the west this Autumn! Also, the North American release is confirmed to be available in a physical format for both versions (although SEGA have yet to confirm if this will be the case in Europe).
This new game will feature 40 songs – some of which are returning from the previous game, while others are brand new.
Every few months, a new video game is released that you would really like, but once in a blue moon a title comes across that you feel that you need. How many times have you sat down with your friends and debated on who would win a fight – Goku, Naruto or Ichigo? Or maybe even, Oga Tatsumi or Medaka Kurokami? Well, now you’ll be made to put your money where your mouth is with J-Stars Victory Vs. – a fighting game developed by Namco Bandai Games that is due out in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on 19th March, 2014!
The game was announced a while ago, but a new trailer has surfaced today, which adds Koro-sensei from Assassination Classroom and Neuro from Neuro – Supernatural Detective to the cast (the former as a playable character, the latter as a support character).
Unfortunately, the game will most likely not be released outside of Japan – namely because the various properties represented are owned by so many different licensors, including FUNimation, Viz Media and Sentai Filmworks. However, Sony are cool and neither the PlayStation 3 or Vita are region locked, so you can import a copy of the game! Yay!
NIS America have announced that the PlayStation 3 game Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, the third game in the parody RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia series will be released in North America and Europe exclusively on the PlayStation Network on 26th and 27th November respectively.
Based on the infamous “console wars”, the Hyperdimension Neptunia series has been set in the fictional world of Gameindustri, with its stories typically revolving around the nations of Lowee (Wii), Laystation (PlayStation), Leanbox (XBox) and Planptune (SEGA’s scrapped Neptune). In this third instalment, a few years have passed since the Deity of Sin’s destruction, resulting in relative piece for Gameindustri. However, one day series protagonist Neptune finds herself transported to 1989, where she must defend Gameindustri from the Seven Sages, who seek to rid the world of the rule of CPUs.
This third game in the series promises a faster-paced battle system, more dungeons and even more comedy!
